What We Do

We specialize in maintaining and improving existing gravel and dirt driveways. Most of our work involves restoring worn surfaces, correcting drainage patterns, and stabilizing driveways so they hold up through Boulder County’s freeze-thaw cycles and summer storms.

Gravel & Dirt Driveway Repair

Maintenance-level restoration of existing driveways — addressing surface wear, uneven grading, and material displacement. We work with what’s there before recommending anything new.

Regrading & Reshaping

Correcting slope, crown, and surface profile to manage runoff, reduce rutting, and restore proper water flow. Most driveway failures trace back to grade — this is the core fix.

Compaction

Stabilizing regraded surfaces with a vibratory roller to reduce ongoing material movement and improve durability under traffic. This is the step most contractors skip — we do it on every job.

Surface Drainage Correction

Addressing drainage patterns at the driveway surface to limit erosion and water concentration. Where water pools, sits, or runs toward structures, we correct the grade to move it away.

Seasonal Maintenance & Long-Drive Programs

Periodic surface refreshes and ongoing care aligned with weather, access, and scheduling — especially valuable for rural properties with longer driveways that accumulate wear faster.

How Projects Are Approached

We Diagnose Before We Quote

Most driveway work is planned as part of a broader maintenance strategy rather than a one-time fix. Evaluations focus on how the driveway is performing today — slope, crown, drainage, material depth — and what steps will best preserve it over time.

In some cases, evaluations reveal needs that extend beyond routine surface maintenance. When that happens, we work with property owners to outline realistic options and sequencing, helping them make informed decisions about next steps.

We do not perform paving. Our services are designed to restore function, manage wear, and extend the usable life of existing gravel and dirt driveways.

1

Free On-Site Assessment

We walk the driveway with you — looking at slope, crown, drainage patterns, edge condition, and material depth. Takes about 15 minutes and costs nothing.

2

Clear Quote With Options

After the assessment, we present tiered options — Good, Better, Best — so you can choose what makes sense for your budget and timeline. No pressure, no surprises.

3

Scheduled Work

We operate on a rotating territory system across Boulder County — scheduling jobs in your area on a regular basis. Most jobs run 2–4 hours from arrival to cleanup.

4

Compaction & Finish

Every job ends with vibratory roller compaction — locking the regraded surface in place so it holds through traffic and weather. The step most contractors skip.

Why Front Range Driveway & Gravel

What Sets Us Apart

Maintenance Strategy, Not One-Time Fixes

We approach each driveway as a long-term project — identifying the right sequence of work to get the most performance out of your investment over time, not just a quick patch.

Site-Specific Recommendations

Every recommendation is based on your driveway’s actual conditions — slope, drainage, material depth, traffic load. No one-size-fits-all packages.

Compaction on Every Job

We finish every job with a vibratory roller. Compaction is what keeps a regraded surface holding — and it’s the step most competitors skip entirely.

Honest About What You Don’t Need

If your existing material is sufficient and just needs redistribution, we’ll say so. We won’t sell you gravel you don’t need or work that won’t make a difference.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

No — we specialize exclusively in gravel and dirt driveways. Our services are designed to restore, maintain, and improve existing unpaved surfaces. We do not perform asphalt or concrete paving.
You don’t need to figure that out before calling. A free on-site assessment will tell us exactly what your driveway needs — we’ll walk it with you, explain what we’re seeing, and recommend the right approach. Most evaluations take about 15 minutes.
Regrading corrects the underlying slope and crown — the geometry that controls how water drains. Surface restoration (power raking) reconditions the top layer of material. Many jobs require both: fix the grade, then recondition the surface so it sheds water properly.
Most jobs run $600–$2,800 depending on driveway length, existing material condition, and drainage complexity. We quote everything on-site after a free assessment — no per-foot formulas, no guesswork. Call 720-303-1434 to schedule.
Yes — rural properties with driveways 200 feet and longer are a significant part of our work. We have the equipment and crew capacity for larger runs, and offer ongoing maintenance programs designed specifically for long-drive properties.
We serve all of Boulder County including Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Erie, Niwot, Gunbarrel, Lyons, Hygiene, Jamestown, Nederland, Gold Hill, Sunshine Canyon, Lefthand Canyon, and surrounding foothills properties. Call 720-303-1434 if you’re not sure.
